Chivon McNally, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Chivon McNally, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 17 years of experience in psychiatric care across pediatric and adult populations. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Russell Sage College. Chivon spent 15 years working with children ages 5–11 on the pediatric unit at Four Winds Hospital and continues to practice there per diem as a nurse practitioner.
Chivon’s approach to care is evidence-based, person-centered, and highly collaborative. She integrates thoughtful medication management with behavioral and lifestyle strategies, focusing not only on symptom reduction but also on improving resilience, functioning, and overall quality of life. She is neurodiversity-affirming and deeply committed to reducing stigma around psychiatric medication and mental health conditions. Her clinical interests include treating OCD, PANDAS, generalized anxiety disorder, and DMDD, and she enjoys supporting neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Chivon is fluent in American Sign Language and holds an associate degree in Deaf Studies, providing her with a strong understanding of Deaf culture and accessible care. She values education, shared decision-making, and creating a treatment environment where clients feel respected, supported, and actively involved in their care.
Outside of work, Chivon enjoys trivia, reading, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She also shares her home with three cats, a turtle, and a hedgehog.
