Samantha Lucca, PMHNP-BC
Owner & Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Samantha Lucca, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and co-owner of Veda House. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Russell Sage College, and a Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Samantha has extensive experience across both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, working with diverse populations including adults, older adults, and individuals navigating substance use and mood disorders. She served as the psychiatric consultant for Skidmore College and has been practicing at Veda House since its founding in 2021.
Her approach to care is holistic, patient-centered, and collaborative—integrating evidence-based psychiatric treatment with lifestyle interventions and supportive psychotherapy. Samantha has a particular focus on trauma-informed care, including work with first responders, military personnel, and individuals experiencing PTSD.
She is committed to fostering resilience, insight, and long-term wellness, while creating a therapeutic environment grounded in trust, empathy, and open communication. Samantha values partnering with clients as they navigate their mental health journeys, offering individualized support every step of the way.
Outside of her clinical work, Samantha enjoys time with family, travel, and interior design.
